Take Out: From Philomath take either Oregon 34 or US 20 west until you cross over the river, take out is on either side of the bridge from both spots.
Put In: In Blodgett, put in about 1 mile below were the US 20 bridge crosses the river. Do not put in above this point because the river is choked with wood. |

| This section of river is great for open canoes, beginner kayakers, and those looking for great scenery. The upper section of this river contains pool drop class I+ rapids while the lower section contains a few class II drops. There are many options for put ins and take outs. |
