This run is an easily accessible run for most southern Willamette boaters expect about an hour drive to the take out. The whitewater on this section starts right away with some fun class II/III boulder gardens.
Mile 4: At mile 3.2 a single cable crossing above the river signifies the first significant rapid coming up. In the next mile the river will begin to narrow and a small ledge drop is formed with a fun hydraulic at the bottom.
Mile 6.5(Dollar Drop Rapid): Shortly before you reach this rapid you will pass beneath a bridge. Scout this 4 foot ledge from river right.
The rest of the run consists of class I/II whitewater. |
