Take Out:  Lower Bridge
Difficulty:  Class III , Portage
Gradient:  27 fpm
Run Length:  11.5 miles
Current Streamflow:  85 cfs @ 10/09/2014 04:30 AM - DEBO - Deschutes River Below Bend, OR, reading taken from USBR
Good Level:  400 - 1,500 cfs
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, October, November, December
Primary Season:  This section only runs from mid October to mid April. Most of the water in the Upper Deschutes is Diverted into Canals during the summer.
Permit:  None
Hazards:  Cline Falls is a mandatory portage, portage on the river left bank. Odin Falls can be run but should be scouted and possibly portaged on the river right bank.

Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Bend head North on Highway 97, in Terrebone turn west onto Lower Bridge Way. Follow Lower Bridge Way until the road gets close to the river. Take out is at a small parking area on the left of the road before crossing the river.

Put In: From the take out, return to Highway 97 and head south towards Redmond. In Redmond take the exit onto Oregon 126 west. Follow this Oregon 126 and turn off at the Cline Falls State Park sign, scout the portage around Cline Falls and put in in the park.
