Because the Wilson River near Tillamook gauge is so far from this section getting an accurate reading is sometimes difficult. A minimun flow for this stretch is about 3,200 cfs on the gauge, that means that this section will be running near 300 cfs. Optimum flows for this stretch are 3,400 - 4,000 cfs Wilson River near Tillamook gauge. |

Scout Elk Creek Drop for wood, this is a narrow drop that can be very dangerous with wood. Also be ware of wood in the braided sections of this run. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Tillamook take Oregon 6 east, near milepost 23 turn left onto Jones Creek Road. Park on the north side of the river and take out below the bridge.
Put In: Return to Oregon 6 and continue up river. Between mileposts 28 and 29 there is a large pull out at the bridge over Devils Lake Fork. From there find the trail down to the river, put in on the south side of the river. |
