Primary Season:  This section of river is dam-controlled and runs all year.

Character/Similar To:  Mostly swift moving flatwater with a few class II/III rapids mixed in.
Hazards:  The weir upriver of the I-5 bridge can be very dangerous, only attempt to run the far right slot.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (OR), 74.8 miles (1 hour 21 minutes) South of Salem
Shuttle Logistics: 

Put In: To reach the put in take OR 126 east and turn south onto OR 222. Follow this road until you reach Jasper State Park just upriver of the town of Jasper.

Take Out: There are a few alternative take outs. One is in Eugene and the other is in Springfield. The take out in Springfield is east of I-5 off of Centennial Boulevard. The other take out is in Eugene at Alton Baker Park near the junction of Centennial Boulevard and Coburg Road.
