Primary Season:  This section of river is dam-controlled and runs all year long
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Mostly swift moving flat water with a few class II rapids
Hazards:  About half way through the run the river has many different channels. There are a few potentially dangerous logjams in these channels.

Land Ownership:  Mixed private and public
Wilderness:  No
Location:  In the Pacific Region (OR), 80.2 miles (1 hour 29 minutes) South of Salem
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From I-5 take OR 58 east, turn north onto OR 222 towards Jasper and follow the signs to Jasper County Park.

Put In: From the take out return to OR 58 and drive up river until the put in at Dexter State Park.
