Scenic canyon that at some parts of the day can be sunless. When the sunshines the water becomes very reflective showing the true colors of the forest. The rapids on this section are mostly class II+/III with long calm pools to seperate them. |
| Hazards: |
.5 miles into the run is The Narrows, always scout this drop on each trip down because is often contains wood. Just over 1 mile into this section there is a class III rapid that should be scouted by first timers to this run. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Tillamook take Oregon 6 east, just west of milepost 8 there is a Drift Boat Skid Launch, use this as the take out ramp.
Put In: From the take out continue upriver to milepost 15. The put in is below a rock outcropping on river right. |
