This stretch of water mostly consists of fast moving water with 3 class II+ rapids. Expect to see many side creeks with tall waterfalls. Although this stretch runs along side a dirt road with private homes, it has a very secluded feeling. |
| Hazards: |
Scout all three class II+ rapids during the shuttle drive. Each drop is marked by a railroad crossing the river. It is also possible to portage each drop from river level. |

Mostly public with a few private homes near the river. When paddling this stretch it is hard to notice the private land. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put In: From Eugene take OR 126 for 34 miles just past Linslaw County Park. A short distance past the park, take the next right and cross the bridge. Turn left onto Stagecoach Road. Follow Stagecoach Road down river for 3 miles, put in is at the small boat ramp.
Take Out: To reach the take out continue down river on Stagecoach Road for 8.2 miles until you reach the take out on river right just above the confluence with Lake Creek. |
