Put In:  Boulder Creek
Take Out:  South Fork Siletz River
Difficulty:  Class III , Class IV + , Class V Pool Drop , Portage
Gradient:  65 fpm
Run Length:  5 miles
Current Streamflow:  2900 cfs @ 12/14/2016 10:30 AM - SILETZ RIVER AT SILETZ, OR, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  5.5 feet
Streamflow Comments:  This usually runs after a few days of heavy rain. A reading of 5.5 feet on the Siletz at Siletz Gauge indicates adequate flows
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, October, November, December
Primary Season:  Rainy
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Short section of river with lots of good whitewater
Hazards:  At high water, 7.5 feet and above, there are a few drops that become class V and have large consequences. Scout or portage the first ledge, the gorge rapids, and the undercut chute near mile 4.

Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Corvallis take US 20 west and turn north onto Oregon 223 (Kings Valley Highway). Continue north on Oregon 223 for 6.4 miles and turn left onto Hoskins Road. 14.9 miles from Oregon 223 stay right at the bridge, stay left at the bridge 15.4 miles from Oregon 223. At mile 26.6 cross over the South Fork Siletz, .5 miles further the take out is at the confluence of the North and South Forks of the Siletz.

Put In: From the take out, drive up the SF Siletz and take the first left. Take the next left and drive up the NF Siletz. Put in at Boulder Creek 5.4 miles from the South Fork turn off.
