Put In:  Confluence with W. Fork
Take Out:  Jones Creek Forest Rd.
Difficulty:  Class III Continuous
Gradient:  80 fpm
Run Length:  3 miles
Current Streamflow:  2360 cfs @ 12/14/2016 10:30 AM - WILSON RIVER NEAR TILLAMOOK, OR, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  2,000 and above
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this section of river. Usually a reading of 2,000 cfs on the Wilson River near Tillamook gauge indicates adequate flows. Optimum flow is a reading of over 3,000 cfs.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, October, November, December
Primary Season:  Rainy, this section only runs after a few days of heavy rain.
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  This section of river consists of fast moving continuous class III white water. This stretch can be done very quickly, it can also take all day because of the abundance of play holes.
Hazards:  Strainers are common in the ledges about half way through the run.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (OR), 89.1 miles (1 hour 45 minutes) Northwest of Salem
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Tillamook take Oregon 6 east to milepost 23, turn left onto Jones Creek Road. Leave the shuttle vehicles in the parking area on river right.

Put In: From the take out continue up river on Jones Creek Road. In .2 miles take the first right, at mile 1.4 stay left at the fork, at mile 1.7 stay right at the fork. The put in is 3 miles from the take out.
