| Paradise Campground to Blue River on the McKenzie River |
The nature of the river changes dramatically after Paradise Campground. Unlike the very continuous upper section, the lower section is class II pool drop. This section of the river gives intermediate paddlers time to enjoy the scenery in between each rapid. The most memorable rapid on this section is called “Bump”. This rapid consist of a large hole on river right that can be easily avoided. For rafters this is a great place to get wet. Mckenzie Bridge Campground marks the top of this rapid. Near the end of the run look for Redsides Hole, this is a great place to stop and play and turn this section of river into a long day. Take out at Forest Glenn Boat Landing on river right.
