At the put in you have the option to run the 14-foot Campbell falls or put in 75 yards downstream. If you decide to run the falls you can either take the vertical line or you can hug the river left wall and paddle through a chute. At most levels the main falls looks like the better line.

Mile 1.9(Diversification Rapid): A lower flows this rapid has two different chutes. The left chute is a straight forward line and the right chute makes a sharp turn before you fall off of a 5-foot ledge. This drop can be scouted from the road.
