Put In:  Above Falls Creek
Take Out:  Mineral Springs Road

Good Level:  300 - 500 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this river. Usually if the Clackamas River above Three Lynx Creek Gauge reads 3,500 - 5,000 cfs there is enough water to paddle this section of the Wind River.
Season Comments:  January, March, April, May, June, October, November
Primary Season:  This section of the Wind usually runs during regular snowmelt season or after a few days of heavy rain. Access during the winter can be very difficult.
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Fun technical class III/III+ rapids, the put in starts as a very low volume creek and after Falls Creek enters the flow will almost double.
Hazards:  Some drops should be scouted for wood on this run.

Land Ownership:  Mixed public and private

Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 215 miles (3 hours 42 minutes) Southeast of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Carson drive upriver on Wind River Road, in 14.3 miles stay straight onto Mineral Springs Road. Shortly you will arrive at the take out bridge.

Put In: Return to Wind River Road and continue up river for 3.4 miles, soon the river will begin to flatten out. Put in when the road is near the river.
