Tributary - Abiqua Creek on the Mollala River

This creek contains continuous class II rapids for about the first 1.5 miles. Always scout this section of river for sweepers.

Mile 1.5(Hank’s Mistake Rapid): The First class III rapid on the run is called Hank’s Mistake. This rapid consists of a strong current to the left and a large boulder at the bottom in the center. Avoid this boulder by going to the right at most flows.

Mile 2.5(Pink Bridge Rapid): After another mile of continuous class II rapids you will arrive at the next class III called Pink Bridge Rapid. This rapid is a long boulder garden that makes a left bend about half way through. Scouting this rapid for wood is recommended.

Below Pink Bridge Rapid the creek slowly flattens out and rapids are no longer present.
