No gauge exists for Brice Creek. A reading of 1,200 cfs on the Row River above Dorena Lake usually indicates a minimun flow on Brice Creek. 2,000 cfs is the optimum level. |

Forested canyon with many narrom class III/IV drops with a few class V drops mixed in. Most of the drops in this section are followed by calm pools making rescues possible. |
| Hazards: |
There are many ledge drops that create sticky hydraulics. Also many of the ledges contain large rocks that could easily pin a boat. Scout each drop for wood, logs are constantly present in this section. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take out: From I-5 take exit 174 near Cottage Grove, follow Row River Road east towards Disston. In Disston take Brice Creek Road upriver for 4.5 miles to Cedar Creek Campground, the take out.
Put In: From the take out continue upriver for 3.6 miles to Champion Creek Road, put in just west of the bridge. |
