| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Albany head East on US 20, just outside of Albany turn left onto Oregon 226. Follow Oregon 226 east until you reach Fish Hatchery Road and turn right. Continue down Fish Hatchery Road and turn south onto Meridian Road before crossing over the river. From Meridian Road turn left onto East Lacomb Road and continue for 1.8 miles. From East Lacomb Road turn left onto Island Inn Drive, park in a pull out when the road is near the river.
Put In: From the take out continue up river for a mile until the first intersection. Turn right and immediately left onto the private logging road. In 1.2 miles cross over the bridge then continue for another 4 miles until the large parking area. Past the parking area turn right and drive 1 mile down to the river. Sometimes there is a gate blocking the way to the river, hiking could be necessary. |
