Put In:  Cub Creek
Take Out:  South Santiam River
Difficulty:  Class III , Class IV + Technical, Pool Drop
Gradient:  105 fpm
Run Length:  4 miles
Current Streamflow:  776 cfs @ 02/09/2012 03:48 PM - SOUTH SANTIAM RIVER BELOW CASCADIA, OR, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  1,200 - 2,000 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  This section only runs after a few days of heavy rain. There is no gauge for this creek, if the South Santiam near Cascadia is running 1,200 to 2,000 cfs Moose Creek should have adequate water levels.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, October, November, December
Primary Season:  Rainy, this section only runs after a few days of heavy rain
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Short intermediate creek run with many fun boulder gardens and ledge drops in a scenic forested area.
Hazards:  Scout the rapid upstream of the road bridge, can also portage on the river right. Logs are constantly present in this small creek.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (OR), of
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Albany head east on US 20 through Sweet Home. 2.25 miles past Cascadia State Park turn left onto NF 2025. In .2 miles stay left at the junction and continue to the bridge over Moose Creek, take out here.

Put In: From the take out continue driving upstream until the road ends. Scramble down the steep hill to the river and put in there.
