No gauge exists for this run. This only runs a few times a year after a few days of heavy rain. If the Clackamas Gauge at Three Lynx is 3,000 cfs and rising or 4,000 cfs and falling, then Butte Creek should be at a runnable level. |

Take Out: Between Salem and Oregon City on either Oregon 99E or Oregon 213, turn east onto Oregon 211. Just past the town of Molalla take one of the first rights to Feyrer County Park, from the park cross the river and turn right onto Dickey Prairie Road. Continue on this road until you reach the bridge crossing the North Fork Molalla River. After crossing the bridge take a left onto Slais Road, follow this road until you reach and abandoned gate. Park 300 yards past the gate on the left next to the gated road that leads to the river.
Put In: From the take out continue down the road until you reach a locked gate. Beyond this gate is private property so ask the property owner before continuing. Hike 4 miles beyond this gate until you reach the LTD rapid. |
