Put In:  Wildwood Falls
Take Out:  Dorena Lake
Difficulty:  Class II + , Class III + , Class IV + Pool Drop
Gradient:  33 fpm
Run Length:  6 miles
Good Level:  500 - 4,000 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  Minimum flow for this section of river is 500 cfs. Optimum flows are 600 - 2,000 cfs.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, October, November, December
Primary Season:  Rainy, this river usually only runs after a few days of heavy rain.
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  This section of the river flows through a rural area. In some spots the river drops into deep gorges giving it an isolated feeling. Most of the drops are pool drop, at high water it becomes more continuous.
Hazards:  Class IV falls near the take out should be scouted, it is easily portaged on river left.
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan
Land Ownership:  Mostly private property.
Wilderness:  No
Location:  In the Pacific Region (OR), 98.8 miles (1 hour 52 minutes) South of Salem
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From I-5 take exit 174 near Cottage Grove and head east on Row River Road. In 4.5 miles continue straight onto Shoreview Drive. Continue to the head of Dorena Lake, after crossing over the Row River turn left onto Row River Road. Drive for .7 miles to the take out at a picnic area near Dorena Lake.

Put In: From the take out return to Row River Road and head east for 4.5 miles. At the junction of Row River Road and Lower Brice Creek Road bear right and cross the bridge over the Row River. The put in is .5 miles down the road in LaSells Stewart Park below Wildwood Falls.
