No gauge exists for this creek. For flow information call 541-937-3852. A good way to estimate the flow is to subtract the outflow of Hills Creek Reservoir from the inflow to Lookout Point Reservoir and then divide the difference by 5 in the winter and 4 in the spring. |

Always scout for wood on this creek because it is constantly an issue. Scout the few class IV rapids. At high water there are a few river wide hydraulics that should be portaged. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From Oakridge take OR 58 east for about 1 mile, turn right onto Kitson Spring Road. In .2 miles the road crosses over the take out for Salt Creek.
Put In: From the take out return to OR 58, turn right and continue for 8.1 miles. Turn right into the McCredie Springs parking lot, put in here. |
