| Tucker Bridge to Hood River Marina on the Hood River |
This is a fun class II+/III at medium flows, at high flows, above 8 feet, this becomes a good class III+/IV run with a big water feel. 1.5 miles into the run you will reach the Powerdale Dam. When the dam comes into view pull off the river on the left and start your portage. Below the dam there is more fun class II+ white water that involves quick decision making around boulders and other obstacles. The last little bit of the run is fast moving calm water, take out is on the west end of the Hood River Marina.
