There are always many logs present in this section. This 5 mile section of river contains one 5 mile long rapid with few stopping points. Although it is a roadside run, hiking out through the thick brush is very difficult. This run is very committing. |

Take Out: From US 26 turn north onto Lolo Pass Road at the Zig Zag Mountain Store. Continue up this road for about 1 mile, take out is at the second bridge down Lolo Pass Road.
Put In: From the take out continue down Lolo Pass Road until the sign marking the entrance of Mount Hood National Forest. Just past this sign take a right onto NF 1825 towards Ramona Falls. Continue for 1 mile and put in at the bridge before McNeil Campground. |
