Good Level:  1-4.5 ft at Ohiopyle and 1.5-9 ft at Confluence
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December
Permit:  Required year-round. Call to reserve a launch on weekends. Free launches for hard boaters after 3:00 pm. Another $2.50 for the bus ride from the Brunner Run take-out to the parking lot where boaters leave their cars after running the primary shuttle.
Character/Similar To:  The "Lower Yough" has plenty of action with some long rock gardens, big hydraulics, and big drops. Throw in excellent surfing opportunities and beautiful scenery and you've got one of the better runs in the east!
