| Hayden Fork on the Bear River |
The first four miles are flow moving with good scenery. It's great for a mellow float. However you will encounter some beaver dams that will have to be portaged.
After this first section the river picks up speed and becomes class II & III. There will likely be log jams so watch for them.
The last mile before the confluence of the East Fork is the steepest part of the run. The Bear River Campground is on the Hayden Fork just upstream of the confluence with the East Fork. |
