Permit:  A Washington State Department of Wildlife conservation license is required to use access points at Carlton and McFarland Creek. Call 206-753-5719 for information.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 220 miles East East East of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics:  Take-Out: From US 97 just south of the town of Pateros, take Washington Highway 153 northwest. Follow the Methow River upstream about 3 miles past the town of Methow to the McFarland Creek fishing access. This is also the put-in for the Black Canyon Run.

Put-In: Continue driving upstream on Highway 153 to the Department of Wildlife fishing access just past the bridge over the Methow on the south side of the town of Carlton.
