Because of access issues, and low flows this section of river is rarely run. This run starts off as mellow class II/II+ and gradually turns into fun class IV ledgey rapids through a scenic forested canyon. In this canyon expect a few logs and a few portages around big rapids. |
| Hazards: |
Because this section is rarely run scout each drop for wood. There are a few waterfalls ranging from 4 to 10 feet tall depending on flow, one name Denslinger Falls is usually portaged because a large log just under the water at the base of the drop. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From the town of Trout Lake take Mt. Adams Road east toward Glenwood. In 1.3 miles you will cross over the White Salmon River, this will be your take out bridge.
Put In: From the take out drive south on Mt. Adams Road, 50 yards past the bridge and turn north on Forest Road 23, follow this for 7.7 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 8031, put in at the bridge over the river on this road. |
