Take Out:  Tanner
Difficulty:  Class III to IV @1,100 - 3,000 cfs, III+ to IV+ @ >3,000 cfs
Gradient:  43 fpm
Run Length:  7 miles
Current Streamflow:  116 cfs @ 05/26/2012 02:15 PM - MIDDLE FORK SNOQUALMIE RIVER NEAR TANNER, WA, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  1,000 - 8,000 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  Rafts or OK above 1,500 cfs
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, November, December
Primary Season:  This section only runs during the snowmelt season and during the rainy season, but only after a few days of heavy rain
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Pool drop class III-IV+ boulder gardens. At high water expect to see some monster holes.
Hazards:  Scout House Rocks Rapid at mile 5.5

Land Ownership:  Public

Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 30 miles (36 minutes) Southeast of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From North Bend take Highway 90 a few miles east, then take exit 34 and go a few hundred yards to the truck stop. Just before the truck stop stay left, and take North Bend Way west for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto SE Tanner Road, in .4 miles pull off the road at a large parking area. The take out is a 50 yard hike down the dirt road.

Put In: From the take out return to North Bend Way and go back towards the truck stop for .2 miles turn left onto SE 140th Street, in 1.1 miles the road splits, stay left, when the road rejoins it becomes gravel. This road is Middle Fork Road; follow it for 5 miles to the put in at the first bridge.
