Put In:  Mineral Springs Road
Take Out:  Stabler
Difficulty:  Class I , Class II
Gradient:  26 fpm
Run Length:  7.2 miles
Current Streamflow:  2710 cfs @ 05/26/2012 12:30 PM - CLACKAMAS RIVER ABOVE THREE LYNX CREEK, OR, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  300 - 900 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this river. Usually if the Clackamas River above Three Lynx Creek Gauge reads 3,500 - 5,000 cfs there is enough water to paddle this section of the Wind River.
Season Comments:  January, February, March, April, May, October, November, December
Primary Season:  This section only runs during the spring melt off or after a few days of heavy rain.
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Class I/II water winding through a scenic canyon
Hazards:  Be aware for the occasional log in or across the main current
Water Craft:  kayak,wwcan,raft
Land Ownership:  Mixed public and private
Wilderness:  No
Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 215 miles (3 hours 42 minutes) South of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From the town of Carson take Wind River Road north for 7.2 miles. Turn left onto Hemlock Road and go for .2 miles, turn right onto Edgewater Drive. Stay right on this road and you will arrive at a dead end in the road, this is the take out.

Put In: To reach the put in return to Wind River Road and continue north for 7.1 miles. Continue straight when the road turns into Mineral Springs Road. After this you will arrive at a bridge over the river, put in there.
