| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: From the town of Toutle take highway 504 east for 7.5 miles then turn left onto Road 1900. Take the right fork in .1 miles; follow this road for a short distance to the bridge over the North Fork Toutle River. After crossing the bridge take Road 1901 to the right for 2 miles. Take a right onto Road 500, follow this for another 2 miles and turn right onto Road 1000. The take out is a wide pull out just downstream of the Green River Gauging station, 1.4 miles down Road 1000.
Put In: From the take out continue up Road 1000 for 7.4 miles and turn left at the fork onto Road 2500. In 2.7 miles you can turn left and drive to the lower put in at a bridge over the river. Or you can continue up Road 2500 for another 1.5 – 2.3 miles to any of the roadside access points. |
