Take Out:  Highway 12
Difficulty:  Class V to V+ , Portage
Gradient:  174 fpm
Run Length:  5.4 - 7.7 miles
Current Streamflow:  116 cfs @ 05/26/2012 02:00 PM - CISPUS RIVER AB YELLOWJACKET CREEK NEAR RANDLE, WA, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  250 - 400 cfs
Streamflow Comments:  There is no gauge for this creek. This usually runs when the Cispus River Near Randle gauge reads between 2,800 - 3,500 cfs
Season Comments:  April, May
Primary Season:  This creek runs early during the snowmelt season
Permit:  None presently required
Character/Similar To:  Steep creek with many long class V boulder gardens and one big portage around a waterfall.
Hazards:  Scout all of the boulder gardens for wood. The mandatory portage around the nasty waterfall can be difficult. Watch for wood, there is a few big logjams that required portaging.

Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 123 miles (2 hours 39 minutes) Southeast of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics: 

Take Out: From Packwood head west on Highway 12 for 2.8 miles and then turn left onto Forest Road 21. Immediately turn right onto Forest Road 011, the take out is 200 yards down this road.

Put In: From the take out return to Forest Road 21 and head south for 5.4 miles to Glacier Creek. Turn right onto Forest Road 2115 and go down the hill straight to the river.
