Character/Similar To:  A moderate class II+ run through a wide, forested valley with beautiful mountain vistas.

Land Ownership:  All National Forest.
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  US Forest Service campgrounds along the river.
Location:  In the Pacific Region (WA), 95 miles Northeast of Seattle
Shuttle Logistics:  Take Out: Take Washington Highway 530 to the town of Darringtion and drive upstream on Mountain Loop Road (USFS Road 20). Continue for about 8 miles to the bridge crossing the Sauk. Turn left about 200 yards past the bridge onto USFS Road 22. Follow this road to the take-out on the right bank just below the confluence with the White Chuck.

Put In: To reach the put-in at Bedal Campground continue driving upstream on Mountain Loop Road for about 7 miles and then bear right into the campground.
