Take Out:  Mouth of the Buckhannon River
Difficulty:  Class IV
Gradient:  79 ft/mi
Run Length:  6 miles (4 miles through Tygart Gorge)

Character/Similar To:  Two miles of busy whitewater stream before emptying into the Tygart Gorge.

Camping on River:  Nice campsites at Audra State Park.
Location:  In the Mid-Atlantic (WV), 135 miles Northeast of Charleston, WV
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: From Belington, take WV 11 about 8 miles to Audra State Park.

Take-out: On WV 11, cross the Middle Fork of the Tygart and continue about half a mile to Carrollton Road. Turn right and continue to the Buckhannon River. At the Buckhannon crossing, park at the covered bridge & RR tracks and walk up

tracks from mouth of the Buckhannon.
