Gradient:  20 ft/mi
Run Length:  7 miles
Good Level:  920-5,000 cfs

Permit:  None presently required.
Character/Similar To:  Series of ledge drops that diagonally span the river providing plenty of entertainment. At moderate flows this section is similar to sections of the New River and at high water it's powerful and dangerous with large holes in place of the ledges.

Wilderness:  No
Location:  In the Mid-Atlantic (WV), 316 miles Northeast of Charleston
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: Reached by driving west on Harpers Ferry on US 340 and turning left at the first interchange to Millville. Put-in at the pumphouse at river level.

Take-out: Located at the Potomac Wayside Area at the Virginia end of the US 340 Bridge.
