Current Streamflow:  9580 cfs @ 02/10/2011 04:30 AM - NEW RIVER AT THURMOND, WV, reading taken from USGS
Good Level:  6-9'
Streamflow Comments:  Because of a large diversion this section only runs when flows exceed 10,000 cfs on the Hinton Gauge.
Hazards:  Landslide Rapid is choked by boulders creating 5 or 6 chutes, only a few of which are runnable. Scout or portage this rapid on river left.
