Character/Similar To:  At low flows the Cheat offers Class III pool-drop rapids. At high flows the pools disappear and the run becomes continuous Class III-IV with two possible Class V rapids. A blend of the Lower Gauley and the New River Gorge.

Location:  In the Mid-Atlantic (WV), 155 miles Northeast of Charleston
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: Rowlesburg City Park.

Take-out: Located approximately 200-300 yards above the Albright Power Station.
