Gradient:  55 ft/mi
Run Length:  2.5 miles

Character/Similar To:  Just below the Squaw Creek Bridge the gradient and difficulty increase with several Class IV and one Class V rapids ahead.
Hazards:  possible log hazards; Snaggletooth rapid
Water Craft:  kayak
Land Ownership:  National Forest
Wilderness:  No
Camping on River:  Several campgrounds in the area and along USFS road 138.
Location:  In the Rocky Mtn Region (WY), 470 miles Northwest of Cheyenne
Shuttle Logistics:  Put-in: From the south side of Palisades Reservoir, head east on US 89 to USFS Road 138 and follow the Greys upriver some 4.5 miles to Squaw Creek Bridge. The road provides several alternate access and scouting points.

Take-out: Located back down USFS Road 138 some 2.5 miles to Bridge Campground (or 2.3 miles from the US 89/USFS Road 138 junction).
