Take-out: To reach the take-out travel Northeast from Bakersfield on Hwy 178 about 40 miles to the town of Lake Isabella. Turn left on Hwy 155 to Wofford Heights and continue four more miles to Kernville. Turn left on
Sierra Way and continue about 18.9 miles upstream to a large turnout where the road crosses Brush Creek.
Put-in: Continue upstream for about .6 miles and turn right on Sherman Pass Road. Continue up Sherman Pass Road for about 1.7 miles and turn into the Brush Creek Heliport. A dirt road parallels Sherman Pass Road. The trail leading down to the Creek is about a hundred yards down this dirt road at
the low point in the road. It's about a .5 mile hike to the creek.
