This run includes the rivers second biggest rapid, the Class IV Stateline, that is rocky and technical at low flows and developes big waves and holes at high water. The river then enters Gateway Canyon offering some Class II-III rapids, excellent scenery and many side hikes. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Located near the Highway 141 bridge at the town of Gateway, Colorado.
Take-out: Dewey Bridge is located on the Colorado River south of Cisco, Utah, a couple miles downstream from the Dolores confluence. There are several alternate shuttle routes, check with the BLM for directions. |
