| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: From Vernal, Utah head east on US 40 for 89 miles toward the town of Maybell in northwest Colorado. Turn northwest on Colorado Route 318 and drive some 40 miles. Turn left onto a dirt road marked "Gates of Lodore" and continue another 10 miles to the put-in.
Take-out: Return to US 40 and head west some 80 miles to Jensen, Utah. Turn north onto Utah Route 149 and proceed to Split Mountain Campground. |
