This secluded run is mostly a gentle float through scenic territory. The walls gradually close in, as the gradient increases and then tumbles through a mile and a half series of pool-drop rapids known as Coffee Pot. Fish and wildlife abound. |

Put-in: Macks Inn Bridge is on US 20 some 33 miles north of Ashton, Idaho.
Take-out: To reach McCrae Bridge, drive south on US 20 three and a half miles from Macks Inn, Idaho. Turn west on USFS Road 30 and head about 2 miles to the river.
