Put-in: Turn west off Clover-Three Creek Road some 27 miles north of Jarbidge Road or about 36 miles southeast of the town of Bruneau. The turnoff is a mile south of the point where Clover-Three Creek Road crosses the East Fork of the Bruneau (also called Clover Creek). From this turnoff drive west roughly 15 miles to the canyon rim, then make the final descent to the river. For more information refer to maps and contact the BLM.
Take-out: From Rogerson, Idaho, turn west onto Jarbidge Road and drive about 40 miles to the intersection with the Clover-Three Creek Road. Turn north on Clover-Three Creek Road and drive some 60 miles to the intersection with Blackstone-Grasmere Road. Turn left across the Bruneau, drive 1/4 mile, bear left again, drive 1.5 miles up the hill to the top, turn left onto a rough dirt road that descends to the take-out. Not recommended when the roads are wet and muddy. |
