Trails End Campground at the end of the Gunflint Trail is the closest camping to the put in. Along the loop camping only at designated campsites, each equipped with latrine and firepit. |

| Shuttle Logistics: |
From Grand Marais, take the Gunflint Trail 48 miles north and turn left on Cty. Rd. 47 (look for Tuscarora Lodge sign). Drive on 47 for nearly a mile then turn right on Forest Route 1495. Follow until the end and portage 5 rods from the parking lot. |
