Access is from Vermilion Lake, 15 miles west of Ely. Take State Hwy 1-169 west for 26 miles to the junction of 1-169 and Cty. Rd. 77, about 4 1/2 miles west of Tower, MN. Turn right on Cty. Rd. 77 and follow this road northwest for 11.8 miles to the public landing at Moccasin Point. At the fork in the road, take the left fork and continue two more miles to the public access point. |
