| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put-in: Access to Big Prairie is by trails leading roughly 30 miles from Montana Hwy 83. Contact the Forest Service regarding pack services.
Take-out: Turn south off US 2 at Hungry Horse and follow a winding USFS road up the west side of Hungry Horse Reservoir. Continue past the reservoir and about a mile beyond an airstrip to the intersection with USFS Road 2826, bear right and drive about 12 miles to the Meadow Creek Trailhead, which is some 3 hiking miles from the Mid Creek Access. |
