In 1991 the Forest Service cabled logs in the river for fish habitat making this section too dangerous to run, however, many of the logs have been washed away or buried in recent years making this run now possible. Practice extreme care running this section; some cabled logs may still present hazards. |

In the Pacific Region (OR), 50 miles Southeast of Portland |
| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put In: Drive southeast on Oregon Highway 224 out of the town of Estacada which is about 35 miles southeast of Portland. Continue on Hwy 224 following the Clackamas upstream along the right bank. Past Three Lynx, Hwy 224 becomes US Forest Service Road 46. Continue on USFS Road46 to June Creek Bridge. Oregon Highway 224 and eventually USFS Road 46 follow along side the river providing alternate access points to customize your run.
Take Out: To reach the confluence with the Collawash River drive southeast on Hwy 224 to Three Lynx power station and then continue about another 8 miles on USFS Road 46 to the confluence. |
