| Shuttle Logistics: |
Put In: To reach the river access at Rome, drive to the east end of the US 95 bridge over the Owyhee at Rome and turn south onto a gravel road. Follow this road about a quarter mile to the parking area and boat ramp.
Take Out: From Rome, drive east on US 95 to Jordan Valley. From Jordan Valley, drive north for about 18 miles (US 95 turns to the north at Jordan Valley) and turn left onto Leslie Gulch-Succor Creek Byway and follow the signs to Leslie Gulch (about 24 more miles).If you wish to avoid the long paddle across the reservoir, an alternate take-out is Birch Creek at river mile 49. |
