| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take Out: Take Washington Highway 530 to the town of Darrington. About 1/3 of a mile east of the Darrington Ranger Station, where Sauk Prairie Road crosses the river, is Darrington Bridge. The take-out is on the left bank at the bridge.
Put In: From the town of Darrington drive upstream on Mountain Loop Road (USFS 20). Continue for about 8 miles to the bridge crossing the Sauk. Turn left about 200 yards past the bridge onto USFS Road 22. Follow this road to the put-in on the right bank just below the confluence with the White Chuck. |
