| Shuttle Logistics: |
Take-Out: Drive either 7 miles north of the town of Darrington or 12 miles south of the town of Rockport on Washington Highway 530 to the bridge crossing the Sauk River. Take out on the upstream side of the bridge on the right bank.
Put-In: From the town of Darrington, drive about 7 miles north on Washington Highway 530 (about 12 miles south of the town of Rockport) and turn right (east) onto USFS Road 26. Drive about 10 miles and turn right onto USFS Road 25. Proceed a short distance to Rat Trap Bridge; the put-in is just downstream of the bridge on the left shore.
