Take-Out: From the town of Yakima, drive about 25 miles west on US 12 to the Windy Point Campground.
Put-In: From the take-out, continue west on US 12 for about another 9 miles to Hause Creek Campground. Put in here or continue upstream 2 more miles on US 12 to an unmarked dirt road that leads down the left bank to the river. This access is somewhat more difficult because of overgrown bushes along the shore.
US 12 follows the entire Tieton River providing alternate access points. |
