Put-in: Located at the bridge in Belington. Or to avoid the first 3 miles of flat water, put-in at
Papa Weese's Paradise, a fishing camp: From Belington turn left (southwest) off US 250 onto County Road 30, then left again on County Road 10. Proceed about 1 mile to the river.
Take-out: About 1 mi after
confluence with the Buckhannon on river right. From Belington, take US 250 north and turn left at the WV 250/10 intersection. Continue to WV 30 and bear right to the fork with WV 30/6. Take a left and continue toward the river to where the road closely follows the railroad tracks.
